What's Next?

The nation is still in shock after hearing the verdict of Not Guilty on Tuesday in the Casey Anthony trial.  This morning the court held her sentencing hearing and gave her the maximum of 1 year for each count of lying to officers. She is scheduled for release on July 13 after they factor in time served and good behavior.  They say that most people convicted of crimes get time off for good behavior, and only serve 80% of their sentence.

There are so many unanswered questions in this case and there may never be answered because only Casey and her family know them.  The woman who was allegedly the nanny of Caylee Anthony is trying to bring slander charges in a civil suit against Casey, in which she may be forced to testify.  But there are several opinions that say she doesn't have a case because Casey didn't know her, she was a fictional character in Casey's head, and Casey had no malicous intent towards her personally.  This may be the only way to get Casey to testify and get answers for Caylee.

The next big question on everyone's mind is what is Casey going to do when she is released?  Will she have to get bodyguards?  Does she have a place to go?  Will she have to move to Europe to get away from all the media attention?
